Guangxian Li is a Professor in the College of polymer science and engineering, Sichuan University. He received his Ph.D. degree in polymer Science at Fudan University in 1989. From 1990-1993, he was a post-doctorate researcher in the area of multiphase Polymer blends at Heriot-Watt University, UK. He currently is the Director of State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering of China and the Polymer Research Institute of Sichuan University (2014~).
His research interests focus on structure-property of multicomponent polymeric systems, polymer processing, degradation and stability of polymeric materials. He served as the Executive Vice President of Sichuan University from 2007-2017, the Vice President of Chinese Material Research Society (C-MRS) (2007-2016), and the director of Polymer materials and Engineering Division C-MRS since 2014. Also, he is the Member of the advisor board of Materials and Engineering Department NNSF, the Member of the 7th Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Education of China(STC-MOE) and the Executive Vice Director of the Materials Division( STC-MOE).
Prof. Jiong SHEN

Prof. SHEN Jiong has been engaged in teaching and scientific research of thermal process control for a long time. His main research areas include advanced control theory & engineering practice on energy power systems and collaborative control of integrated energy system. He has been involved in more than 30 projects entrusted by National Key Technology Research and Develop Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China and others as primary investigators. He has published over 160 refereed journal and conference papers.
Prof. SHEN Jiong has been engaged in the management of scientific research, discipline construction and postgraduate education since 1999. He is a part-time professor in the School of Educational Administration of the Ministry of Education. He serves as the lecturer of "Industry-University-Research Integration and Regional Economic Development" and "University Discipline Layout and Construction". He has published many academic papers in Xinhua Digest and Higher Education in China, and published his monograph Research on Postgraduate Cooperative Training Mechanism (Shen Jiong, Feng Jianming, 2018). He was awarded the second prize of Graduate Education Achievement of China Academy of Degree and Graduate Education in 2016.

Professor Kang Kejun, a physicist and an expert on Radiation Imaging
Awarded with B.S. (1982), M.S. (1984) and Ph.D. (1988) in Dept. of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University, he had been appointed as the Director of the State Lab. of Particle Technology and Radiation Imaging located in Tsinghua University in 1994, meanwhile, appointed as Deputy Dean of Dept. of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University in 1995 and became the Dean of the department in 2002. In the year of 2004, he was appointed as Vice President of Tsinghua University being in charge of research affairs.
Prof. Kang has engaged in research on Radiation Imaging since 1982, including Particle Detection and Electronics, Signal Processing, Data Acquisition, Image Reconstruction and Processing, etc. During the period of M.D. study, he developed some creative image processing methods for gamma camera of nuclear medicine. Attributing to his successfully designing and developing the first Experimental Industry CT System in China, he was honored with “Excellent Doctor Thesis of Tsinghua University” in 1988. He had participated the HERA project of DESY in Hamburg of Germany from 1989 to 1991, specializing in superconducting cavities’ testing.
Being the leader of the special project, Prof. Kang acquired several innovation achievements on the research of “Large Container Inspection Technology”, one of the National Scientific “Tackle Key Problem” Programs sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Under his leadership, the research achievements have been successfully transferred into industrialization, and a high-tech company, Nuctech Company Ltd. was founded in 1997. The series products of “Large Container Inspection System”, known as “THSCAN”, are equipped in large quantity by the Customs both in China and worldwide. It has created huge social and commercial benefits. The new invented Mobile and Relocatable Container/Cargo Inspection System with linear accelerator as the radiation source won the First-Class National Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of China in 2003.

Research interests including C-H bond functionalization, fluorine chemistry, catalytic chiral reactions, research and development of high-purity organometallic precursors for LED, OLED. With over 150 publications and 20 patents.
