Prof. Zou is currently the President of Guangzhou Maritime University, the former President of Guangzhou University, the former President of Foshan University and the former Vice President of Southeast University. He is a specialist in telecommunication engineering. He has been a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Concordia University in Canada.

Prof. Guangxian LI

Director of Polymer Research Institute of Sichuan University

Former Executive Vice President of Sichuan University

Guangxian Li is a Professor in the College of polymer science and engineering, Sichuan University. He received his Ph.D. degree in polymer Science at Fudan University in 1989. From 1990-1993, he was a post-doctorate researcher in the area of multiphase Polymer blends at Heriot-Watt University, UK. He currently is the Director of State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering of China and the Polymer Research Institute of Sichuan University (2014~).

His research interests focus on structure-property of multicomponent polymeric systems, polymer processing, degradation and stability of polymeric materials. He served as the Executive Vice President of Sichuan University from 2007-2017, the Vice President of Chinese Material Research Society (C-MRS) (2007-2016), and the director of Polymer materials and Engineering Division C-MRS since 2014. Also, he is the Member of the advisor board of Materials and Engineering Department NNSF, the Member of the 7th Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Education of China(STC-MOE) and the Executive Vice Director of the Materials Division( STC-MOE).

Prof. Jiong SHEN

Professor, Southeast University

Former Vice President of Southeast University

Prof. SHEN Jiong has been engaged in teaching and scientific research of thermal process control for a long time. His main research areas include advanced control theory & engineering practice on energy power systems and collaborative control of integrated energy system. He has been involved in more than 30 projects entrusted by National Key Technology Research and Develop Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China and others as primary investigators. He has published over 160 refereed journal and conference papers.

Prof. SHEN Jiong has been engaged in the management of scientific research, discipline construction and postgraduate education since 1999. He is a part-time professor in the School of Educational Administration of the Ministry of Education. He serves as the lecturer of "Industry-University-Research Integration and Regional Economic Development" and "University Discipline Layout and Construction". He has published many academic papers in Xinhua Digest and Higher Education in China, and published his monograph Research on Postgraduate Cooperative Training Mechanism (Shen Jiong, Feng Jianming, 2018). He was awarded the second prize of Graduate Education Achievement of China Academy of Degree and Graduate Education in 2016.

Prof. Ke-jun KANG

Professor, Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University

Professor Kang Kejun, a physicist and an expert on Radiation Imaging

Awarded with B.S. (1982), M.S. (1984) and Ph.D. (1988) in Dept. of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University, he had been appointed as the Director of the State Lab. of Particle Technology and Radiation Imaging located in Tsinghua University in 1994, meanwhile, appointed as Deputy Dean of Dept. of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University in 1995 and became the Dean of the department in 2002. In the year of 2004, he was appointed as Vice President of Tsinghua University being in charge of research affairs.

Prof. Kang has engaged in research on Radiation Imaging since 1982, including Particle Detection and Electronics, Signal Processing, Data Acquisition, Image Reconstruction and Processing, etc. During the period of M.D. study, he developed some creative image processing methods for gamma camera of nuclear medicine. Attributing to his successfully designing and developing the first Experimental Industry CT System in China, he was honored with “Excellent Doctor Thesis of Tsinghua University” in 1988. He had participated the HERA project of DESY in Hamburg of Germany from 1989 to 1991, specializing in superconducting cavities’ testing.

Being the leader of the special project, Prof. Kang acquired several innovation achievements on the research of “Large Container Inspection Technology”, one of the National Scientific “Tackle Key Problem” Programs sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. Under his leadership, the research achievements have been successfully transferred into industrialization, and a high-tech company, Nuctech Company Ltd. was founded in 1997. The series products of “Large Container Inspection System”, known as “THSCAN”, are equipped in large quantity by the Customs both in China and worldwide. It has created huge social and commercial benefits. The new invented Mobile and Relocatable Container/Cargo Inspection System with linear accelerator as the radiation source won the First-Class National Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of China in 2003.

Prof. Lie-yun Ding  was also a professor, doctor, doctoral adviser of the Engineering Management Department of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In recent years he has taken charge of several important projects in the Tenth Five-Year Plan, National Natural Science Foundation, and numerous scientific researches supported by the Province or the Ministry.

Prof. Yi PAN

Professor, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University

Obtained Bachelor degree in Chemistry in 1981, Master degree and Doctoral degree in Organic Chemistry respectively in 1984 and 1988 at Nanjing University. Postdoc at Imperial College from 1989 to 1992. Became Professor of chemistry in 1997 in Nanjing University. Chairman of organic chemistry section of Nanjing University from 1995 to 2001. Dean of School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from 2001 to 2006. Vice President of Nanjing University since 2006. Head of National 863 Program New Material MO Precursors R&D Center since 1997. Member of standing committee of the Chemical Society of China from 2002 to 2012. Vice Chairman and director of organic chemistry section of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Society of Jiangsu Province since 2002. Director of the Gaseous Technical Committee of the Semiconductor Material and Equipment on Standardization Committee of China since 2005.

Awarded the Excellent Personnel in the Trans-Century Excellent Talents Program of Ministry of education of China in 2002. Elected as the Mid-Young Science and Technology Leading Personnel in the 333 High-Level Personnel Cultivation Program of Jiangsu Province in 2007. Project chief scientist of the supporting materials for solid state lighting in the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China in 2008. Project chief scientist of the high-k material for nano-chips in the Important National Science and Technology Specific Projects in 2009. Vice chairman of Jiansu Nata Opto-Electronic Material Co., LTD from 2000 to 2006. Chairman of the Asset management company of Nanjing University from 2009 to 2015. Obtained the 2nd Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Education of China in 1997. Awarded the Scientific Excellence Award by Eli Lilly & Company in 2005.

Research interests including C-H bond functionalization, fluorine chemistry, catalytic chiral reactions, research and development of high-purity organometallic precursors for LED, OLED. With over 150 publications and 20 patents.

As Vice President of the university, in charge of scientific research of development since 2011, in charge of science and technology business of the university since 2009, in charge of HR of the university from 2006 to 2011.
