48th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva Postponed to September

The 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, which was supposed to be held in Palexpo from March 25th to March 29th is postponed to September due to the pandemic of Coronavirus worldwide.

The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is the biggest event in the world to be exclusively devoted to inventions since 1973. As one of the largest invention exhibitions with a long history, it is an annual international event under the patronage of the Swiss Federal Government, the State, the City of Geneva and of the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO. The show in 2019 exhibited over 1,000 inventions by 825 inventors from 42 countries and regions, of which 80% are from corporates and research institutions with the rest from individuals. The exhibition area covered 9,500 m2 and received 30,000 visitors during the 5 exhibition days.

 

ISTA member universities have achieved outstanding results in the exhibition for eleven years in a row, a solid proof on their research capabilities, which are internationally acclaimed.
